Lionel Messi may return to Barcelona for the second half of the 2023–24 season, according to Football Espaa.

After leaving Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi was offered the chance to make a sensational comeback to Barcelona.
He declined, citing the club’s financial woes as the primary factor in his decision.
He ultimately signed with MLS team Inter Miami, where he has made a huge impact.

However, Messi’s injury has kept him out of Inter Miami’s last few games, which has seriously hurt their performance.
They currently appear unlikely to compete in the MLS Playoffs at the end of the regular season.

There are rumors that Inter Miami may let Messi join Barcelona on loan in January if they don’t make the playoffs, as reported by Sport.
With David Beckham moving to AC Milan and Thierry Henry coming back to Arsenal, MLS clubs have been known to do this in the past.

Although it appears that this may happen sooner than anticipated, Inter Miami owner Jorge Mas has recently stated that he will permit Messi to say goodbye to the Barcelona supporters.
