Bruins Announce Special Initiatives for “Rafters Reunion,” Presented by TD Bank | Boston Bruins’ Centennial Opening Night.
The season-long “Blood, Sweat and 100 Years” celebration will be launched by the Bruins.
Boston’s Bruins team has unveiled special plans for the start of the team’s Centennial Year as of today, October 10.
On Wednesday, October 11 at 7:30 p.m., the Bruins will host the Chicago Blackhawks for Opening Night, presented by TD Bank, beginning their 100th season of competition.

On Wednesday, October 11, at 4:15 p.m. at The Hub on Causeway, former Bruins players will make a grand entrance into TD Garden while walking a “gold carpet.”.

Fans with tickets will find an exclusive Opening Night “Blood, Sweat & 100 Years” t-shirt on their seat inside the arena, courtesy of TD Bank.
The Bruins will hold a “Rafters Reunion” opening ceremony before the game, which is sponsored by TD Bank and will feature special appearances by several of the club’s illustrious and cherished former members.

Opening Night will be broadcast live on TNT, and NESN and TNT will both carry coverage of the pregame “Rafters Reunion” ceremony.
All proceeds from Opening Night will go to the Boston Bruins Foundation through the DraftKings-sponsored 50/50 raffle, which has a $100,000 guarantee.
