An immediate Super League move is planned for Sydney Roosters outside back.

It appears that the NRL game was the premiership winner’s last.

Paul Momirovski, a center for the Sydney Roosters, is expected to leave Bondi as soon as possible as the Leeds Rhinos try to become his fifth club in six years.

Although Momirovski hasn’t played in every important game since his early NRL days, the utility back has a knack for finding successful clubs.

The 27-year-old was a member of the Roosters’ team in 2018 and Melbourne’s in 2020 before finally playing in a grand final in 2021 with Penrith, though he didn’t participate in the deciders.

Momirovski has still been an important member of the Chooks squad, filling in for their superstars even though his return to Bondi hasn’t been as fruitful as he had hoped.

Dominic Young, however, will be joining players like Billy Smith, James Tedesco, Joseph Manu, Daniel Tupou, and Joseph Suaalii in the club’s backline next season, creating a situation where at least one of them will have to miss selection.

The center’s immediate transfer to Leeds is “just about done,” according to Wide World of Sports reporter Tony Adams, which pushes “Momo” way down the food chain.

With the Kumuls’ try-scorer leaving the Rhinos, he appears destined to succeed Nene Macdonald at the Super League club.

The transfer, which will pair Momirovski with former NRL stars Sam Lisone and David Fusitu’a in Leeds, is anticipated to be completed within a month.
