Disappointing: Sydney Roosters star is leaving right away.
According to an Australian journalist, the deal for Sydney Roosters outside back by Leeds Rhinos is “just about done.”.
According to infamous Australian journalist The Mole, LEEDS RHINOS’ acquisition of a Sydney Roosters outside back is “just about done.”.
Papua New Guinea international Nene Macdonald’s time at Headingley appears to be coming to an end, according to The Mole of Wide World of Sports, who also revealed that the Rhinos are almost done signing Roosters center Paul Momirovski.
Momirovski, 27, has appeared in 22 games for the Roosters since joining the team before the 2022 NRL season, but his opportunities have been limited in 2023 due to head coach Trent Robinson’s preference for players in the centers like Billy Smith and Joey Manu.
Momirovski started his career with the Roosters, making his debut in 2018.
He later played twice for the Chooks before switching to the Wests Tigers in 2019.
He then signed with Melbourne Storm, played for Penrith Panthers, and then returned to Sydney in 2021.
In addition to being a talented goalkeeper, the 27-year-old will give Rohan Smith more options in front of the goal and out wide.
