Lewis Hamilton received the ultimate insult as ‘serious’ problems revealed,

Lewis Hamilton “no longer has the hunger” to compete at the front of the grid, according to Sir Jackie Stewart, as Mercedes struggles to create a vehicle that can rival Max Verstappen.
Since the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in 2021, Hamilton has not triumphed in an F1 race, a streak that is the longest of his career.

While Hamilton occasionally had to race in the middle of the field, Red Bull has set the standard for their rivals.
Hamilton’s contract with Mercedes was extended last week through the end of the 2025 season, so Mercedes has made some progress and there is obviously enough being done in the background.

At the front of the grid, Mercedes is attempting to close the distance to Max Verstappen.
Stewart, however, has questioned whether Hamilton still has the motivation to compete at the top level of the sport.

He told Bild, “Lewis is one of the best Formula 1 drivers to have ever raced.
But in reality, he has competed for a team that has been essentially non-competitive over the past ten years while racing for Mercedes.

Lewis’s only true rivals during this time were his corresponding teammates.
Prior to 2016, he had always won the duel.
Then Nico Rosberg defeated him, and he lost.

With all due respect, he is a competent driver but not the best in the world.
Rosberg, however, had a burning desire to win the world championship and was simply hungry.
