Deion Sanders release official Colorado football injury update and possible return date

For CU Buffs’ practices, Myles Slusher is back.

Myles Slusher, a defensive back for Colorado’s football team, seems to be recovering from an injury he sustained during the team’s season-opening game against TCU.
The Arkansas transfer participated actively in the Buffs’ practice on Sunday, according to Reach The People Media.

Deion Sanders, the head coach, disclosed after that Week 1 game that Slusher was “banged up” and might need minor surgery.

Against TCU, Slusher started as a nickel and made six total tackles, one of which came on a fourth-down play in the final frame.

Reach The People Media also broadcast footage of right tackle Savion Washington wearing a walking boot, which was unfortunate for the Buffs.
With an apparent leg injury, he was taken out of Saturday’s defeat to USC and replaced by Reggie Young.

Although it is currently unknown if Slusher will play this weekend against Arizona State, his presence in practice is encouraging for Colorado’s battered secondary.
