Rob Gronkowski makes Travis Kelce admission in GOAT debate

The two-time Super Bowl champion tight end, Travis Kelce, is making a case for himself as the greatest tight end in NFL history by putting up numbers to compete with the best to ever hold the position.

Rob Gronkowski, an NFL legend who is well-versed in the position of tight end, has shared his opinions on Travis Kelce as one of the league’s all-time greatest players.

After being selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Kelce is currently in his tenth season of competition.
During his illustrious career, the 34-year-old has won two Super Bowls, including one last year against the Philadelphia Eagles.

When the Chiefs most needed it, their alliance behind quarterback Patrick Mahomes delivered.
Their 14th playoff touchdown—one fewer than Gronkowski and Tom Brady’s record—came on Mahomes’ pass to Kelce in the Super Bowl victory over the Eagles in February.

One of the greatest tight ends to play in the NFL at any time is considered to be Rob Gronkowski. The 34-year-old won four Super Bowls in his career, three with the New England Patriots and one with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Each championship was shared with the legendary former quarterback Brady.

After initially calling it quits at the conclusion of the 2018 NFL season, Gronkowski made a comeback in 2020 to play for the Buccaneers alongside Brady.
Before the 2022 season began in June of last year, Gronkowski announced that his playing days were officially over.

The question of whether Gronkowski believes Kelce is a superior tight end in the NFL today than he was during his playing days has been put to him more than a year after his retirement.

The former Patriots and Buccaneers star explained why Kelce is a better player than he was, despite Gronkowski being only five months Kelce’s senior.

On his podcast, reporter Ryen Russillo posed a question to which Gronkowski replied, “That question, you’re just throwing it right out there.”.

In a different way, I’d say. I mean, in my opinion, Travis Kelce is the best tight end for receiving.
When it comes to catching the ball, he is the best tight end.

You cannot even dispute that there is no doubt.
He’s had seven seasons with at least 1000 yards, after all.
He makes a great red zone target as well.
Additionally, they are not the same team when he is off the field.

Gronkowski, who himself had four seasons with 1,000 yards, continued, “I don’t want to make the final decision on this argument.

“He’s just had a great career; he’s taken it to the top and he keeps raising the bar every year.
I find it amazing that we are the same age. And he’s still moving forward at that rate.
I’ll leave the discussion to you guys.
